WOOD Fired Bath

The Japanese-inspired cedar bath tub is elevated on its own deck and situated to take advantage of the breath-taking views of the mountains beyond. The bath is heated by an adjoining boiler and can take between 2.5 - 4 hours to reach teamperatue. Grab a book and relax or venture out and return for a stress releasing soak.

Heating

Mill Cabin is well insulated and the wood stove provides warmth as well as a cozy atmosphere. You’ll find everything you need to light a fire on site: wood, lighter and kindling.

It can get a little colder in the depths of winter, so please be sure to pack enough warm clothing if you are planning to stay through the cooler months.

Cooking

The cabin kitchen is stocked with basic staples, so don’t worry if you are arriving late and haven’t been able to grab supplies. Otherwise everything you need for cooking and eating are at your disposal.

Bathroom

You’ll find everything you need in the bathroom, including soaps and creams by Hunter Lab and soft linen towels and robes by Cultiver Linen. All this combined with the fresh mountain air will have you feeling renewed and invigorated in no time.

Entertainment

There is no TV in the cabin and in its place are a range of board games and cards to while away the evenings and rainy days.

There are a bunch of books to peruse too, learn about the high country history and discover the perfect hike for you or just flick through one of the many coffee table books.

Bedroom

Sink into the most comfortable queen bed with In Bed linen. Drift off to sleep listening to nature's soundtrack surrounded by pristine bush.

Full kitchen with oven, cook top & dishwasher

The kitchen in Mill Cabin is equipped with all the essentials needed to cook yourself a hearty cabin meal. Here’s everything you’ll find on site:

a gas cook top with cooking pots and a pans
an electric oven
utensiles, grater, colander, can opener, corkscrew and scissors
speciality tea and coffee, a Moka Pot, teapot and tea strainer
salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil and a basic supply of staples; pasta, rice, olives, tinned tomatoes etc.

Board games, cards and chess

You'll find a bunch of board games as well as an eclectic range of travel and coffee table books to while away the rainy days and evenings

Yoga mat and equipment

Set up for your morning yoga on the deck or out on the grass. You'll find a yoga mat, bolster cushion and multiple blocks in the cabin.

The most tranquil and peaceful place I think I’ve ever stayed. Surrounded by snow gums and overlooking snow-capped mountains, Mill Cabin is a truly special place. Perfectly at home in nature, but incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. We honestly never wanted to leave - such a blissful few days here.

By the far the most amazing place we have stayed.Trent and Niki have created such an incredible Airbnb - highly recommend.The location is completely secluded but close enough to head to the snow or into town if you’d like. "Can’t recommend Mill Cabin highly enough; the space is beautiful, peaceful and sparkling clean, with high quality products and thoughtful touches. The surrounds are pristine, wonderfully quiet and absolutely private. There is wildlife (kangaroos, deer and even a wombat!) that approach quite close to the cabin and really add to the experience. Communication with Niki was effortless and she was able to provide me lots of helpful info on the area.
